Rondom Rembrandt

To mark Rembrandt''s 400th birthday the Koninklijk Museum voor Schone Kunsten Antwerpen is presenting six paintings from its collection that emerged from the artist''s milieu. They are interesting works that because of a shortage of space are generally kept out of view in storage. In the literature on the artist they have been largely ignored, a situation the exhibition hopes to redress.
