Introduction

This bibliography is intended as a guide to the most essential reference literature for the curator of Dutch and Flemish art. It is not intended to be an exhaustive bibliography, but a select one, an aid to curators and librarians, especially in smaller institutions, in acquiring the books that will be most useful to them.
